The Weight Loss Commitment

Weight loss is a commitment.

 

Rarely can someone all of the sudden one day just automatically achieve a massage goal. Typically that type of success comes from years of hard work, thinking of strategies, and being committed even when times are tough.

 

Weight loss is no different.

 

Whatever your goal is -- 3lbs, 12lbs, 55lbs, fit into skinny jeans, be comfortable in my skin -- it will take:

1. Time

 -- and -- 

2. Commitment

 

Here are tips to keep in mind for your weight loss commitment:

 

Make your commitment firm

Define your boundaries. If you don't do this then circumstances will do it for you. If the boundaries are already set, your mind is made up. 

 

 

Decide your effort level

Know your own limitations for time and energy. If you level with yourself you are more inclined to set yourself up for long-term realistic expectations, rather than quick turn-around failures. 

 

 

Recognize that everyone is different

There are geniuses and there are average people, there are billionaires in the world and there are common folk. All of us play a special part in this world, but we don't all play the same part at the same time, same speed, same expectations, etc.
